Hi I’m Ben Joldersma a passionate photographer with a deep love for capturing moments and telling stories through my lens. My photography journey began with curiosity and a camera in hand, and it has since grown into a lifelong pursuit of creativity and growth. Whether behind the camera or assisting on set, I thrive in dynamic environments where I can learn, adapt, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Before diving deeper into my journey as a photographer, I was shooting on a Canon Rebel T7 in a small town, carrying it everywhere I went, convinced I had already mastered the craft. I was proud of my work, but I had no idea how much more there was to learn. Looking back now, I can say that journey has been humbling in the best way possible.

Every day presents an opportunity to expand my skills, challenge my creativity, and refine my vision. Through hands-on experience, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for patience, attention to detail, and the art of collaboration. I’ve learned that being a photographer isn’t just about the gear you use but about how you see and interpret the world around you.

Beyond honing my craft behind the lens, I’m also growing as an assistant, understanding the nuances that make every shoot run smoothly. Whether working on my own projects or supporting a team, I value the energy, problem-solving, and adaptability that go into creating great work.
